Sjogren’s complete in-house engineering and machining capabilities allow us to create customized, precision grooved rolls that are compatible with any assembly. Our design innovations reduce work interruptions, lower replacement costs, reduce marking and other quality control concerns, and offer greater performance durability. Our grooved straightener rolls are compatible with any manufacturer’s assembly.

Sjogren has put together a recommended maintenance schedule based on the type, material, and usage of each of its clients’ particular rolls. Machined to exact specifications and featuring our alignment marker, our grooved rolls assure the assembly maintains a precise wire centerline.
The Sjogren alignment marker accounts for variations in bearing width, and makes it easy for the operator to identify the correct way to mount replacement rollers to maintain tolerances. Specialty roller materials are available if you are working with soft or precious metals or specially coated wire. If your application calls for custom shaped wire, we can machine custom shaped grooves to match your specifications, even for small orders.
