Wire and cable industry innovator to showcase in Germany
WORCESTER, MA _Just ahead April 2018’s International Wire and Cable Trade Fair in Dusseldorf, Germany, Sjogren Industries is delivering its new catalog to customers. The full-color, magazine-styled publication outlines Sjogren’s complete line of products and highlights its legacy of innovation over the last 90 years as a leader in customized solutions in the wire and tooling trade.
The 2018 catalog showcases the following;
- The Static Dancer Roll (patent pending) – SDR replaces the conventional dancer roller or tuner roller on a wire drawing machine. With the conventional roller, the combination of high heat, draw lube contamination, and general wear causes wire surface scratching, ball bearing seizure, and constant maintenance.
- The PB Series – Backed by a year’s worth of engineering and Sjogren’s 90-year history of innovation within the wire and cable industry, the PB Series provides a simple, modular design for wire straighteners.
- Sjogren Industries, a leader in the groove roll market, also introduced its Product Maintenance program for straighteners and groove rolls designed to keep product lines running and minimize downtime, all while increasing productivity and profits. Sjogren has put together a recommended maintenance schedule based on the type, material, and usage of each of its clients’ particular rolls.
These advances will be on display in April at the International Wire and Cable Trade Fair.
Setting up at Hall 11, Stand E50, the company will utilize a fully-functioning wire-pulling machine to demonstrate the features and benefits of our innovative rollers and straighteners.
Sjogren is unlike almost any other company in the wire tooling industry in that it does not outsource any aspects of product development. Therefore, the company has the ability to adapt and respond to specific requests — including limited production runs — in ways that others simply cannot.
Have an unusual shape wire you are drawing? Do the spatial requirements of your production line call for a unique assembly orientation? Are you working with materials that off-the-shelf providers tell you cannot be accommodated?
Sjogren has the capability and adaptability you are looking for.
Founded in 1927 by Oscar Sjogren, the company has long been an innovator in the design and manufacturing of customized solutions for the wire tooling trades. Today Sjogren Industries delivers high quality, Made-In-The-USA machinery, tooling and accessories to a worldwide customer base with distributors located in Europe, South America, Asia, and Mexico
